Our Hospice of South Texas mission is to ensure palliative and compassionate care to patients with a life-limiting illness, so as to enhance natural death with dignity. The physical, spiritual, psychological and social needs of patients and their families are addressed with special emphasis on family bereavement support.
Hospice care neither prolongs life nor hastens death. Our specialized team of professionals and volunteers provide comfort and support to patients and families when a life-limiting illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments. Hospice staff continually strives to offer the highest level of skill and expertise on end of life issues.
Hospice of South Texas considers it a privilege to share this most precious time with our patients and their loved ones. Our staff understands all of life's journeys are important; some just deserve extra attention.
