Saint Mary’s Press (SMP) is a nonprofit, Catholic publisher administered by the Christian Brothers of the Midwest Province (De La Salle Brothers). SMP is in service of the Catholic Church through its Lasallian mission to provide a human and Christian education to young people, especially those who are economically deprived. SMP dates from 1943, when Br. Alphonsus Pluth, FSC, began publishing high school religion resources.
Saint Mary’s Press, along with its partners in schools, parishes, and families, is pleased to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with Catholic Christian youth and families, through publications and services.
Saint Mary’s Press of Minnesota, Inc., also owns and operates two other publishing imprints: Anselm Academic ( ), serving the higher-education fields of religion, theology, and ethics; and Professor’s Choice® ( ), a custom textbook publishing aggregation service for the higher-education market.
