Blakely Hose Company No. 2 has been proudly serving the residents of Blakely, Pennsylvania and surrounding communities since 1908. Blakely Borough is situated in the middle of mid-valley region of Lackawanna County about 5 minutes north of Scranton, PA. The borough is approximately square miles with a population of 7,000.
Today, the members of our department serve not only the residents of Blakely, but we also respond on mutual aid box alarms to Dickson City, Justus, Jessup, Peckville, Archbald, Eynon, Mayfield, Clarks Summit, and Moosic. Services we are able to provide include fire suppression, water supply, rapid intervention (RIT), water rescue, and technical rescue services to name a few.
