Please call to make a reservation 906-786-5308. Golden Acre Kennels is a pet boarding facility located in Ford River just 7 miles south of the Escanaba Airport.
We board dogs and cats. Kennel sizes are 4x14 for $17/day, 5x7 suites decorated different (some have toddler size beds in them) for $18/day and 8x14 for $22/day. Each additional dog in same kennel is $10/day. Cats are $15/day and $7/each additional cat in same kennel area. We also do daycare for $12/day.
All the kennels are indoors with in-floor heat. I have outdoor kennels and a big playyard outdoors where they are taken out numerous times a day. We also play inside if too cold or hot outside. Your dog does get to play with others. If for some reason you don't want it to or it shouldn't, let me know.
The kennel is air conditioned in the summer.
Required vaccines are Distemper, Rabies and Bordetella for dogs and Rabies for cats.
It is best that the dogs and cats stay on their same diet so you need to bring your own food.
I live right on the premises so I am close to your pet.
