Mountain Parks Foundation has supported visitor education programs and projects at Big Basin and Henry Cowell Redwoods State Parks since 1973. In 2009 we supported 294 campfire programs, 300 Junior Ranger and Little Ranger programs, ten special public-education events and more than 200 student nature education classes designed to meet school curriculum requirements.
The Foundation succeeds in offering this support through individual donations, corporate sponsorships, grants, fundraising events and proceeds from sales at Mountain Parks Nature Stores.
