Medina Community Design Commitee

0
In the decades since its founding, the Community Design Committee (CDC) lead the effort to restore Medina’s historic uptown buildings, to keep our traditional whiteway street lights, to create an historic district with overlay zoning and to enhance the Public Square Park through numerous projects including the construction of the Gazebo at the heart of the community.

Today, CDC continues its advocacy for preservation and beautification. CDC offers businesses and individuals free support and consultation for the painting or restoration of historic buildings. The organization recognizes local property owners who make the effort to beautify their spaces through our Beautification and Preservation Awards programs. CDC also serves as a community resource for the history of the City of Medina and for old structure renovation. Our collection of photos, renderings, resource books, preservation/restoration monographs and local building background files is extensive.
