Christian Credit Counselors was founded in January 1990. It's a direct offspring of Credit Counselors Corporation which was founded in 1962. Edward J. McTaggart, the founder of both, comes with more than 37 years of experience in the credit-counseling field, and was the president of the American Association of Credit counselors for a number of years. Now his son, Greg McTaggart, is carrying on the legacy as the president of Christian Credit Counselors.
Christian Credit Counselors, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Corporation. The company originated in Southfield, Michigan and is now headquartered in Southern California.
Christian Credit Counselors services over 25,000 clients and over 20,000 creditors. Our well-trained and experienced counselors are available from 6 to 5:30 PST Monday through Friday with toll free numbers nationwide. Through an independent accounting firm, we conduct (and provide to regulatory agencies) detailed annual certified audits of all activities conducted on behalf of clients and creditors.
