Cove Builders is located in the rural area of Monterey Tennessee, located close to Cumberland Cove. Cumberland Cove is located in Putnam county and Cumberland county. The Bluffs are located on the west end of Cumberland Cove. We serve the communities of Cookeville, Crossville, Sparta, and Livingston, Tennessee. As a General Contractor we are licensed for new residential and commercial construction, building semi-custom specs and custom homes. We also hold our own plumbing and electrical licenses so these trade services are coordinated in-house. We also have land and semi custom homes for sale.
I am Dave Boender, president of Cove Builders & Development, Inc. Prior to starting Cove Builders & Development, I had 20 years’ experience with a high quality window and door company, Pella Windows & Doors. My experience with Pella taught me the importance of offering high quality, value- added products. I have taken this philosophy and applied it to the homes Cove Builders & Development builds. We give a superior level of attention to detail and strive to exceed requirements of local and state building codes to ensure our customers are satisfied with the products we offer.
Construction is done with human hands; therefore, it will never be perfect. We clearly believe that building a new home or renovating your existing home does not have to be stressful, but a pleasant experience when good two-way communication is exercised and the home owners are kept informed throughout the process of all phases of the project.

Our office and model home is located in Cumberland Cove where the detailed amenities for your home can be selected. We have beautiful hardwood lots available to choose from, or we can trade a lot you already have, or build on a lot that you currently own.
