Thrive Credit Union, formerly Industrial Centre Federal Credit Union was founded in 1940 by the employees of Delco Battery. These employees joined together to establish a financial service dedicated to serving the hard working, faithful employees of Delco Battery and their families. Initially, the credit union offered only savings and loans. Over the past 74 years however, Thrive Credit Union has evolved into a full service financial institution offering a variety of products and services to satisfy most of your financial needs.
Due to great success with Delco, Thrive eventually began to open our doors to the Industrial Park. Membership grew, and we were able to serve many of our local Industrial businesses including, Broderick’s, Duffy Tool, and even Delaware County Employees.
Joining the credit union is easy! Anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Delaware County is eligible. Just stop by either of our convenient locations, fill out a membership card, and make a $ deposit into your share (savings) account. That $ represents one share of the credit union, making each member an owner of the credit union! Accounts at Thrive Credit Union are insured to at least $250,000 through the National Credit Union Association (NCUA), an agency of the federal government.
