Across California, thousands of CASA volunteers build close relationships with and serve as advocates for foster children. However, there are still 72,000 foster children in CA who don't have a CASA volunteer to stand up for them. Be the
CalCASA improves the scope, quality, and impact of CASA advocacy in California. We achieve this by strengthening local programs, promoting improvements in advocacy practices, and sharing the insights of CASA staff and volunteers with policy and decision makers. CalCASA's goals for the CASA network are to: 1) Serve More Children 2) Improve Volunteer Effectiveness 3) Increase Program Quality 4) Influence State Laws and Policy.
