Boys & Girls Clubs of South Alabama, Inc. offers programs in five core areas designed to help Club members ages six through 18 to learn new skills. The five areas are Character and Leadership Development; Education and Career Development; Health and Life Skills; The Arts; and, Sports, Fitness, and Recreation. We currently operate six Clubs, three of which are located within inner-city minority neighborhoods, and three which are in rural, underserved communities. In addition, we operate an alternative school for adjudicated youth, and a 21st Century Classroom after-school program at a local middle school. We also operate Camp Chandler-Tonsmeire which provides an outdoors experience for our youth.
