Our Values …

Evangelism – We value lost people because God does (Luke 10:10), Therefore, it is our desire to use every available Christ-honoring means to pursue, win and disciple lost people.

Fellowship – We value other Christians. Therefore, we desire to provide a Biblical community and atmosphere where people have opportunity to make connections, build friendships, minister to and love one another (Acts 2:44-46)

Discipleship – We value spiritual growth and maturity as the vital process in helping people discover their place and purpose in life. Therefore, it is our desire to see people go through a personal and systematic spiritual growth process that will hep them in their maturity (I Peter 2:2)

Prayer – We value the intervention and power of God in our lives, recognizing prayer as a vital part of our communication and relationship with God. Therefore, it is our desire to encourage and exercise prayer in all of our congregational and personal activities. (Philippians 4:6)

Ministry – We value the fulfillment that comes through significant involvement in the lives of others. (Ephesians 4:11-13). Therefore, we seek to equip and recruit all our uniquely designed and gifted people to effectively accomplish the work of the ministry.

Sincere worship – We value our relationship with Jesus Christ. Therefore we desire to express God’s supreme worth to us in our personal lives and in the corporate worship services of our church. (Romans 12:1-2, Ephesians 5:19)

The body of believers of the Community Baptist Church value evangelism through discipleship and fellowship,
with prayer and by ministries that involve the sincere and transparent worship of our Lord.
