The Old Savannah City Mission is a 501(c)(3). Not only is the Mission a non-profit, it receives no tax payer or United Way funding. The Mission is a Gospel Rescue Mission with a passion to bring the Good News to those who are captive to drugs, short, sin. In order to maintain freedom to proclaim the Good News in all we do, we refrain from funding which requires political correctness. The Mission is TRANSDENOMINATIONAL. It is a five star Gospel mission based on the Body of Christ. Volunteers are welcome to unbelievers as long as they do not come with an agenda to advance any particular doctrine, creed or focus on preaching the Good News that God loves us and that through His Son, Jesus we are offered eternal life. No bells or whistles; just the Gospel.
