Since its founding as one of the first co-ed elementary schools in New York City in 1789, the Alexander Robertson School has been a pioneer for educational equality. Located just steps away from Central Park on West 95th Street and within a short walk of some of the world’s most important cultural institutions, the Alexander Robertson School strives to enrich the educational experiences of all of our students, to instill in them a life-long love of learning, and to help them develop an ethical compass and sense of compassion that will be their steadfast guide throughout their educations and their lives.
