Dr. Owen was graduated from Indiana University and the University of Illinois. He has maintained a General Family Dentistry practice in Galesburg since 1977. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Illinois Dental Association, the Chicago Dental Society, the Prairie Valley Dental Society and past president of the International Association for Orthodontics (IAO). He is currently a Diplomate and Senior Instructor for the IAO. Dr. Owen is also president of the QCASO (orthodontic) Study Club and regularly attends and instructs continuing education classes in general dentistry and orthodontics.
He and his wife Kathy reside in Galesburg and are parents to six daughters and 11 grandchildren.
