The Sanctuary opened in 1993 on Sanibel Island, FL with an Arthur Hills designed, par 72 championship course. Our neighbor is the J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge and there was foresight to dedicate over half of our acreage to the preservation of wildlife. We are Audubon Certified. Our 353 equity members and 70 social members are successful men and women enjoying the 'island atmosphere' with the elegance of a private country club.
