Minit Stop is a locally based, locally operated member of Saltchuk Resources, Inc. (Seattle, WA) along with Hawaii Petroleum, Aloha Air Cargo and Young Brothers/Hawaiian Tug & Barge in Hawaii. Minit Stop pioneered the first self-serve gas station on Maui in 1978. In 1982 Minit Stop Holdings, LLC opened its doors on Dairy Road in Kahului. Today we are 18 stores strong and growing, with ten Minit Stops on Maui and eight on the Big Island. Each store offers an island menu of “home-cooked” entrees along with a variety of fresh salads and sandwiches daily.
Minit Stop takes an active part in the communities we serve, inside our stores and out. Ultimately, our goal is to become the people’s choice for local food and easy shopping, as well as being recognized for our generous contribution to our community and one of the best places to work in the state.
