Stay at Work pays. What does that mean to you? It means you’ll earn while you heal. You’ll make more money both in the short term and in the future if you’re working in a temporary light-duty job, rather than staying home to recover. It means you’ll stay in the game. You’ll speed your recovery after a work injury with a light-duty job. You’ll stay active and on a regular schedule, reducing worries about money, making you feel more secure and stable. As a valued employee, your employer doesn’t want to sideline you while you heal, nor do you want to be put on the bench. If a workplace injury occurs, ask about a light-duty job. Learn more at our Stay at Work page: www.Lni.wa.gov/StayAtWork.
Stay at Work is one of L&I's financial incentive programs. We reimburse employers for some of their costs when they provide temporary, light-duty jobs for injured workers while they heal.
