Happy throwback Thursday. You'll never guess who that is and what he is operating.

2 Major pests in our area of Bucks & Montgomery Counties 1) Emerald Ash Borer ( EAB) Ash borers feed exclusively on ash trees. The borer larvae live underneath the tree bark, cutting off the tree's nutrients and water flow. Signs of infestation include D-shaped larvae exit holes, S-shaped larval tracks under the tree bark, splitting and flaking of bark, and woodpecker activity. The ash borer has no natural predators in the U.S. and although pesticides have proven to be effective, they can provide only a temporary fix. If your Ash tree has EAB or Not, please call us for a evaluation. 2) Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Hemlocks, (the Pennsylvania state tree )are at risk of hemlock woolly adelgid, another invasive insect species, and elongated hemlock scale. Hemlocks can be treated with sprays and soil injections. Al Cherry Tree Service Inc uses knowledgeable solutions to managing insects & diseases that begins with maintaining tree health by using sound pruning practices and amending soil conditions for vigorous tree growth. We can provide periodic inspections of your property to detect pest infestations, damaging diseases and unhealthy trees & shrubs. As ISA Certified Arborists we are trained to provide the necessary treatments to all trees & shrubs with naturally based materials to reduce chemical exposure to people and the environment..

The snow is finally here, in the form of a major storm!!!!!! This winter storm is expected to bring heavy /wet snow to our area Friday night until Sunday, January 24th, which may more then likely cause severe damage to your trees, shrubs and your property. Al Cherry Tree Service will be available if emergencies services are needed throughout the weekend, but lets hope not. Please stay safe everyone.

Al Cherry Tree Service would like to wish everyone a Happy Holiday. Great things are coming for 2016 stay tuned!!!!
