Regional Aid for Interim Needs, Inc. ( ) is a premier senior service organization established in 1964 by our visionary founder, Beatrice Castiglia Catullo (Bea). Our mission is to enhance the well-being and quality of life for all New Yorkers by meeting the interim needs of people of all ages. We offer a continuum of care that includes a range of services for seniors and those with disabilities. Our quality services include: full-service neighborhood senior centers, 1600 daily home-delivered meals to homebound elderly, transportation services, and home care in addition to 425 daily meals for homeless and hungry persons in low income Bronx communities.
has grown since its inception into an extensive not-for profit multi-service organization network, serving residents of The Bronx and Upper Manhattan. We operate multiple Senior Centers and key support programs that provide nutritional, transportation, and care management needs to seniors.
Our board of directors, staff, volunteers, and community partners are committed in a true partnership that fosters a robust service delivery model of care. We recognize the many challenges facing the elderly these days, and are confident you will find a service that best meets your needs.
