We follow the teachings and philosophies of Maria Montessori in our mission to "educate the whole child". In this unique approach to education, children are introduced and exposed to a variety of subjects by way of age appropriate materials. They are able to choose and work freely with the activities based on their own academic journey. Because of this, children are able to flourish and grow in the areas at which they excel and receive personal and individualize attention at subjects they may find more challenging. Children are able to learn and discover basic functions, concepts and skills in the subjects of math, science, reading, writing, practical life, sensorial, social sciences, music, art and Spanish. Teaching independence and self-sufficiency is an important aspect of Montessori education, helping the child to “help me do it myself”. Through teaching independence, we also emphasis grace and courtesy to instill in children skills and manners they will need in their everyday lives as they grow.
