Adams County 4-H is for youth ages 5 and in kindergarten through age 18. It is the positive youth development program of The Ohio State University here in Adams County. This year, more than 720 youth are members of the county's 29 community-based 4-H clubs. These clubs are led by more than 150 adult volunteers. The highlight of the year for many 4-H members is exhibiting their projects at the Adams County Fair, held in mid-July in West Union.
