Habersham County

The Habersham County Sheriff's Office is a full-service law enforcement agency serving the citizens of Habersham County, Georgia. The Habersham County Sheriff, Joey Terrell, is an elected constitutional officer and is statutorily charged with the responsibility of providing all primary law enforcement services within Habersham County. The agency also provides related law enforcement services to the entire county, including civil and criminal process, assistance to municipal agencies, crime prevention and education programs, victim assistance services, and providing school resource officers for the Habersham County School System.

The Sheriff is also responsible for the administration and everyday operation of the Habersham County Jail.
