As a Christian we cannot become complacent in our walk with God. God is a God of vision and movement! For there is too much work in God’s kingdom to be done. Matthew chapter 9 verses 37 through 38 says, “Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest”. Although we all may be at different places in our lives or going through different situations. Jesus is looking for people who are ready to completely give their lives to Him! In order to do that, we must be ready! The harvest is ripe but so many of us have become comfortable and content at the place we are in our lives. The trouble with that is, if we become satisfied with being in such a place we will never want to move. WE MUST UNDERSTAND THE PLAN. (1-4) After Moses died, God wanted Joshua to know that his plan for Israel had not changed and that the time had come for Israel to get ready to move. It is important to note that while much had transpired since Israel’s failure to believe in God, his plan was still waiting to be accomplished. Certainly, following their departure from Egypt, Israel had attempted their own plans, but God’s plan remained his will for his children. God is ready for us to possess a new territory in our Christian walk with Him! God has something great in store for us! All we have to do is walk in faith and obedience to His holy word! God wants to see us embrace His plan, His power, and the prize He is directing us toward. In order to do this we must get ready! He has a particular goal He wants us to accomplish, and He will provide the power for the process. Israel had dwelt in the wilderness for some forty years; it was now time for them to go into the Promised Land. “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses (it was not God’s Will that one foot breadth was to rest in the hands of its former owners; likewise, the Holy Spirit intends presently for everything in our lives to be removed which hinders our progress with the Lord; it is God’s Will that we possess the entirety of the Promise. We are living in the last days and Jesus is coming soon. Prophetically, there are events that will occur and the countdown will begin with the first event which we are about to see take place. Event 1 – The perfection of the church We really need to discern what God is saying to the church in this season. Something supernatural is about to happen with the church. God is about to perfect the church and this event is closer than we think. From Pentecost to the present-day church, man has always been the head of the church and its history has not been one that truly reflects the true nature of God. Man’s own ideas and characteristics have been dominant in the expansion and preservation of the church mandate. This is the next event that we can look forward to and church leaders need to start equipping their people. The Bible does not say “My people perish for the lack of churches.” This is so true especially when we see how many churches there are in the free world. The Bible tells us in that “My people perish for the lack of knowledge.” We must concede that the church has achieved a lot throughout the ages. It has preserved the Word of God, evangelized the nations, brought millions upon millions to salvation, kept the faith, and released the anointing of the Holy Spirit throughout its history. But it has also been guilty of many failures and imperfections. When we study the prophetic end of the church, we have to agree that the church has not yet transformed into its intended image of perfection. When we study these passages of the Word, it is quite evident that the church is about to change supernaturally. Some of the positive characteristics of this glorious church are as follows: • In full unity of the faith • Perfect • Reflects Christ’s image • Sanctified • Cleansed • Glorious • Without spot • Without wrinkle • Without blemish • Mature Pastor Cecil

I would like to thank Pastor Donna Davidson, Dony King, and Terry Reynolds for helping with the baptism today it was the best one for Victory Hill that I can remember the weather was perfect and the feeling of the presence of the Holy Ghost made it the perfect day thanks everyone for helping Pastor Cecil

2 Samuel 19:11 And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why are ye the last to bring the king back to his house? There are 3 things I want you to notice this morning about this setting: 1. the King had been absent for some time Now listen… he was not absent because he had left voluntarily He was absent because HE HAD BEEN FORCED TO LEAVE. Loyalty to this King had been lost to another leader, Absolom. Adoration for this King had been changed to another Faithfulness to this King had now become faithlessness. Understand, It was not David’s desire and choosing to leave… he left because he was forced to leave. His subjects had rebelled against him. They changed their love for another They thought the grass was greener on the other side. They thought they were getting a better deal with Absalom… more attention, more caring They would get to sing more at Absalom’s church They would get to be used more at Ab’s church They would finally get that position they were wanting at Ab’s church They would finally get the recognition they thought they deserved at Ab’s church. They had a new leader now… They were sure to get their way now…. Surely Absalom would be much better for them… They wanted something new… something different, something to make them feel better…. Listen church… we live in a church world today where the King of Kings and Lord of Lords has been absent for some time in our church services…. And not because HE chose to leave Not because HE wanted to go somewhere else…. But because people’s loyalty has changed. God is no longer welcome in many services. He no longer has a place in people’s hearts. Oh they still talk about him, sing about him, do things in his name… But just like Jesus said in Matt. 7: 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. You know why it’s become this way church? Because the devil has painted a greener pasture just on the other side of the cross… And the church for the most part has laid down the cross of Christ, has climbed the fence of compromise and been grazing in the cow-fields of carnality for many years! Hey, I don’t care how you slice it to me… the true church of Jesus Christ is nowhere where she needs to be full of power, full of the Holy Ghost, full of victory… Because the KING has been absent for so long!!!! WE’VE replaced the KING with celebrities! And now instead of praying ourselves and trying to get ahold of God ourselves, we pay the pastor to do that for us… We’ve become “grant it” Christians… and grant everyone else’s prayers, but hardly pray ourselves! And so the MAN OF GOD is now the focus instead of the King… He has the faith He has the power He has the formula to unlock our faith. And we’ve become more dependent on the man of God than we have the King of Kings. Pastor Cecil
