Memorial Day is a time each year when we pause to remember those who laid down their lives for family, friends and freedom. One week after the Pearl Harbor attack President Franklin D. Roosevelt said, “Those who long enjoy such privileges that we enjoy forget in time that others have died to win them.” Freedom is never really free; it’s almost always bought with the blood of patriots. The biggest battle we, as Americans, are facing today is the battle for the very soul of our nation. We see it all around us every day. The erosion of our society has been a slow process, but we’ve seen it accelerate rapidly in the just the past few years. It really doesn’t matter whether there’s a Democrat or a Republican sitting in the Oval Office, this nation that we’ve all come to know and love continues to erode. The position we’re in today is because of what we tolerated yesterday. And, the position we’ll be in tomorrow will be because of what we tolerate today. Well, history has a way of repeating itself down through the centuries. In Daniel’s day, he saw a lot of what we’re seeing today. But, his situation was much worse. The fifth chapter of Daniel describes the collapse of a culture. They became so comfortable and secure within the confines of their strong walls, but they crumbled from within. The way I see it, Babylon made four huge mistakes. They lost all sense of remembrance. They lost all sense of reality. They lost all sense of restraint. And, they lost all sense of respect. On this Memorial Day, my prayer is that we would be challenged to be a people of repentance and that we would acknowledge that anything we do is vanity without the presence of the Holy Spirit. On this Memorial Day, as we remember those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today, may we be reminded that, in the words of Daniel, “The Most High still rules over the affairs of men” (Daniel 4:32). And, may we humble ourselves before Him...and may God bless America! Pastor Cecil

In a world that has gone topsy turvy, and lost all sense of balance there is a stabilizing factor than can bring us back into divine alignment with the will, the purpose and the power of God. As we look around us today it seems as though the whole worlds gone crazy, It seems as though there are no longer any reference points. When the prodigal son in the scriptures came to himself in the pigpen after wasting his substance, and wasting his life on riotous, self pleasing, desires, he remembered where he came from. He remembered his fathers house, he remembered what was good and what was evil, he remembered what faithfulness and honesty and integrity and dignity looked like. He remembered what it felt like to be loved not on the basis of what he could do or the money that he had, but just for who he was. (He remembered all of that). But this society has gone crazy, it’s as though we (this society this generation) has been sucked up into a tornado and we are spinning out of control. Because too many preachers won’t tell the truth, they want to keep their people medicated and sedated, and in a catatonic state, just following along in a zombifide state oblivious to the world around them. They keep them drugged up on feel good messages that never deal with sin, or the consequences, and don’t tell them how to have power over sin and the devil. The bible commands those who watch over the souls of men to lift their voices like a trumpet and sound the alarm. Isaiah Cry aloud and spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet and show my people their transgressions and the house of Jacob their sins. America is in a free fall spiraling to destruction, and much of the church world is just sitting around singing cumbayah. What can bring us back to true center and true north. There is hope yet for America and there is yet hope for the laodician modern lukewarm church. And there is hope for you and I (No matter how out of balance and out of control things are around us) In our text it is as though God is looking right down into the 21st century and He Is seeing all the confusion, and all the perversion and all the chaos, and in His everlasting mercy and goodness He is saying…… I Can help you, there is hope, I can get you back on course, I can bring stability back into your life. Pr 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. We’ve forgotten the God of the bible: The God of the Bible: The one who wiped out the human race except for Noah and his family in the ark. The God of the Bible: The one who opened up the red sea and swallowed up the Egyptians, The one who opened up the earth and swallowed up the sons of Korah, The God of the bible: (The one who burned up the two sons of Aaron because they offered to him strange fire). The God of the bible: The one who rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. The God of the bible: The one who sent poisonous serpents among the people and many of them died, because of their sin. Oh but Pastor that was the Old God: He was angry in the old testament (Our God is the new testament God) He’s all grace and mercy, He’s not angry anymore, He’s calm, He’s better adjusted now, What you think God’s on Prozac and valiums Somebody should have told Ananaias and Saphira about that: Because they didn’t get the memo. You know the story of a Man and his wife who tried to deceive the HolyGhost They lied about the price of the land they sold and how much they received for it. Acts 5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. Acts 5:7-10 And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. 8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. 9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. 10 Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband . I am telling you today: that one of the Marks of this last day outpouring is going to be a drastic and sudden return to the fear of God. I don’t know what all this means: I don’t know what God is going to do, or the means He is going to use, but I do know this (We better get ready, because there is a major house cleaning coming to the church, and along with it is coming a healthy dose of the fear of God.. Pastor Cecil

There is a motherhood crisis in America where many have come to view children as a distraction rather than a blessing. What do I mean by Motherhood Crisis? I’m talking about a sociological problem that will bring this nation down if it’s not addressed. The economic crisis that we’ve been through, did not happen overnight. What brought Chrysler and GM down? Years of promises that now have to be paid. Years of buildup in pension debt. The key difference between American manufactures and Foreign is the pension debt. It happened slowly; but one day it could no longer be ignored. There’s another crisis building as well. Slowly the strength of this nation is declining in a way that people don’t seem to notice. We notice when its money. We notice when 40% of our IRA balance disappears. But I’m talking about a far more precious resource: people. We are now at an all-time low birthrate. In fact, as of 2004 the rate is not even at the replacement level. The fertility rate in this country is 48% less than it was in 1960. That shocking reality can’t be adequately depicted on a chart. What accounts for this lower fertility rate in the United States? Are there atomic particles floating around making it harder for people to get pregnant? Have the terrorists managed to put something in our water that will slowly diminish our strength as a nation? Is there some kind of virus that is damaging women’s ability to get pregnant? No, but there is an epidemic causing it. It is an epidemic of selfishness. Glen Stanton says it is driven by a sharp decline in selflessness, sacrifice and maturity—all of which are required to raise the next generation. Stanton goes on to say a contributing factor to this is—and I quote “the emergence of ‘delayed adolescence’ among young adults...many twenty- and thirty-somethings seem to view life as ‘all about me’ as they pursue gadgets, fun, money, and peer approval. This is at cross-purposes to the self-sacrifice and commitment necessary for marriage and child-rearing.” The epidemic is about a mindset that brings sterility. It’s a mindset in complete contradiction to Ps 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward. It’s an upside down value system that views babies as an inconvenience rather than a blessing from God. And we have national organizations like Planned Parenthood promoting the sterility. Listen to the way they entice unsuspecting souls into their web of lies. I quote from their website, “Abortion is a safe and legal way for women to choose to end pregnancy. Abortions are very common. In fact, more than 1 out of 3 women in the U.S. have an abortion by the time they are 45 years old.” That sounds like a pretty blatant way of promoting the murder of unborn children. They make it sound so innocent. Everybody’s doing it; one out of three do it; it’s safe and legal. Regardless of the secular laws of our land, in the eyes of God, murder is never legal. God had everything under control when it had looked like He had nothing under control. Don’t you think Jehocabed and her husband might have been tempted early on to get angry with God? Here we Hebrews have all these great promises from God that came down through Abraham. We’re going to be blessed and be a blessing. Yet here we are slaves to the ungodly Egyptians. They seem to be the ones blessed. We’ve got nothing. And if that weren’t bad enough, now they’re killing our baby boys. What if Jehocabed and her husband and thought that way? That kind of thinking would have killed their faith. We would not be reading their story today, if they had gone down that path. Why do I bring that up? Because your situation may bring similar temptations. I doubt any of us here are in as bad of situation as they were. But maybe you’re tempted to wonder why God’s running your life the way He is. That’s when we have to remember the God we serve. He is full of goodness and wisdom. He will never, never do us wrong. We can trust Him. Jehocabed had to trust God with her baby boy when she sent him to be placed in the Nile River. Any number of things could have gone wrong. The basket could have sunk and the baby drowned. An Egyptian could have seen him and murdered him on the spot. A vicious crocodile could have risen up out of the water and eaten him. But that’s not what Jehocabed dwelt on. Those are not faith-building thoughts. Feeding fear does not build faith. And Hebrews 11 clearly tells us, she was acting in faith. Here is our lesson from Jehocabed. Learn to trust God with your kids. Yes, obey God every step of the way. But ultimately that child’s wellbeing rests with God. God took care of Moses in the worst of circumstances. He can take care of you and your kids no matter what happens. In fact, look at how well God took care of the situation. Pharaoh’s daughter paid Jehocabed to take care of Moses. That’s God’s financial program for His people. He can rain manna from heaven; He can bring water out of a rock; and He can have an unsaved king’s daughter paying mom to raise her own child. This was the daughter of the king who had ordered the babies killed. Nothing is too hard for God. He can give you and me favor just exactly where we need it. Amen? Moms, keep your eye on the reward. Every dollar spent, every sleepless night is worth it. Your investment in those precious children is an investment in eternity. Pray for Moms Pastor Cecil

On March 15th I had open heart surgery and I would like to thank Sister Donna the Assistant Pastor and all the Ministers that have filled in for me over the last several weeks. I will be back in the Pulpit this Sunday morning and looking for an outpouring of the Holy Ghost. God has this generation covered. This generation will be the generation that will run with the fire of God and manifest everything that Jesus is. This is the generation that will stand up against wickedness in the earth. When wickedness encounters Christ’s fullness in believers, it will have to flee. Ephesians 4:13 - Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ God is about to raise up a revival generation. The Bible has many examples of such people that did mighty things for God. The Bible speaks of the fullness of the earth, and the fullness of joy. I don't believe that we have entered the fullness of joy and the fullness of God's blessing until we have entered the fullness of Christ. There is a fullness that the church is going to experience before Jesus comes. I am excited because this generation will experience God’s fullness. Something is about to break out upon the earth and you are going to be part of God's great plan. The Bible also speaks about the fullness of God's house. I believe the church is going to enter into its fullness. What we see in the church is not the fullness of God's house. The Bible says that the latter temple will be greater than the former temple. We are going to see the kind of church that is going to have fire and will manifest the fullness and stature of Christ. Ephesian 1:10 - That in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth-in Him. I would like to declare to you that, in case you didn’t know it, there is a revival spirit that is about to sweep across America today! We are about to realize a move of God that He has promised would come! And this generation is going to see the greatest revival and harvest in the history of mankind! For the Lord spoke through the mouth of His prophets to declare the workings of His Spirit in a day that he would take out the stony heart of man, and put in a heart of flesh. Joel prophesied that, "In the last days saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh, your sons and your daughters shall prophesy; your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions; and upon my handmaids and upon my servants will I pour out of my Spirit and they shall prophesy." In this generation, among the underprivileged - the outcasts - the drunks - the prostitutes - the drug addicts - the down and out - there is a Glory Revival that is awaiting the church of the Living God! Let me clarify it with this statement. I don’t believe that the Church is going to have to tarry for it like they did on the day of Pentecost. Because they were waiting ’for’ the Promise! It was the inaugural outpouring of the Holy Ghost! This generation is about to inherit the fullness of the promise. We are going to have to appropriate in our spirit an expectancy, an anticipation, an assurance, and a certainty that Almighty God is about to do an explosive act of Devine Anointing in this hour! And it’s about to happen now! I declare unto you that it’s time to get down to business with God! There’s going to be a purging of the orchard! There’s going to be a cleansing of the Temple of God! And the one thing that Almighty God is looking for in this hour is productivity in the Kingdom! God’s not concerned with how well I preach, as He is with how good the results are in the vineyard! It’s time for an old fashioned, tongue talking, aisle running, devil chasing, sin erasing, resurrecting, Holy Ghost outpouring! God has You covered!!! Pastor Cecil
