After receiving his medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio, Dr. Ashraf completed a year long eye research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, followed by an ophthalmology residency at George Washington University and then advanced training in corneal and refractive surgery at Johns Hopkins after that.
