Rathke Family Dentistry began as David O. Rathke, in September of 1981, a time when dental and medical practices had to be named after the doctors that owned the practice, and when advertising by the "learned professions," (medicine, dentistry, and law) was forbidden. The name was changed to Rathke Family Dentistry several years ago when Dr. Bryan Rathke joined the practice. We had always treated staff AND patients as family, but realized that, with "blood" family joining the practice, that our practice name should reflect fact.
