Michael Jones, CSA spent 15 years As a Certified Financial Planner ( CFP,CLU,ChFC ) helping people accumulate and protect their assets so they could attain their financial goals and reach their dreams. After moving to Sarasota in 2000 to assist his own parents, he realized that the strongest need for seniors today is to be able to stay in their own homes.

Michael believes that with Comfort Keepers he has found the perfect business to allow him to continue his passion to be able to assist people with their hopes and dreams. His mission is to enable seniors to live independently with dignity in their own homes.

Attaining his Certified Senior Advisor designation allows him the ability to be a great resource in the community. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Sarasota County Aging Network. Michael currently hosts his own show called “Thriving on the Suncoast” which airs weekly on SNN TV Sundays at 11am. Previously he served on the leadership council of the local Alzheimer’s Association and hosted “Connecting with Seniors,” on Blab TV 189.

Michael also writes a Q & A column in Mature Lifestyle Magazine and is on the State Board of Directors of the National Private Duty Association. Michael Jones was recently interviewed and selected as a “Man of Distinction” and included in the Sept issue of SCENE Magazine.

Michael personally heads up our annual “Senior Hunger and Malnutrition Food Drive.” This annual drive is a coordinated effort to collect food and educate the community and our seniors about nutritional issues.

Above all, Michael is passionate about providing education and cutting edge information to the community in an effort to give our local seniors a life free from worry and frustration and filled with joy and peace of mind.



Charlotte Jones, RN, MS, BSN, CDP, CADDCT is a registered nurse who earned her Masters of Science specialized in Nursing Education from the University of South Florida. Her Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing was earned at Stevenson University in Maryland. She is also a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) and a Certified Alzheimer's disease Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT) designated by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners.

In addition, Charlotte is also an approved trainer with an approved curriculum from Florida Elder Affairs for Assisted Living Facilities in Level 1 and Level 2 Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders and was responsible obtaining the CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Program) accreditation for our Bradenton office.

Prior to her work with Comfort Keepers, she was a clinical nurse for ten years at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore and Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Charlotte feels the greatest reward in nursing comes from educating people and giving the gift of knowledge. Prior to nursing she spent seven years in hotel management where she learned the value of being totally committed to the highest levels of customer service. Charlotte continues to draw upon that commitment today for every Comfort Keepers client and their families.

Charlotte has a true passion for helping area seniors age in place. In addition to training our home health aides and maintaining the ongoing computer education training she assesses clients, recommends community resources, and works with the clients and their families regarding physical and psycho-social issues. As Community Educator for Comfort Keepers she also provides education to the community and is a highly sought after presenter.

Charlotte's expertise is one of the reasons Comfort Keepers of Sarasota can give its clients the highest level of in-home care available in the Sarasota area.
