The Institutes of Applied Human Dynamics, Inc (IAHD) was founded in 1957 to provide a range of services for mentally retarded, brain-injured and emotionally disturbed infants, children, youth and adults. At its inception, parents and volunteers were trained in the practical application of psychodynamic, socio-dynamic, activity-dynamic arts and sciences so they could learn to serve these exceptional people in our programs and in their homes.
IAHD offers a range of programs and services to people of all ages with developmental disabilities throughout the Bronx and Westchester Counties in New York that include: • Early Intervention • Preschool • Clinical Services • Crisis Intervention • Medicaid Service Coordination • Parent Advocacy • Family Support • Residential Services • Day Habilitation • Vocational Training • Seniors Program • Center Based Preschool Program
