From the desk of Tracy O'Banon: The Special Needs Ministry Volunteer of the Week is Stephanie Cauthen. Stephanie is one of the leaders in the young Sunday school class. Stephanie is energetic and enthusiastic, and it’s a delight to serve with her. It is a joy to watch Stephanie serve the students and families with the love of Jesus. Thank you, Stephanie!

First Baptist Belton with Todd Kunders and Kelly Beutler Kunders.
From the desk of Logan Reynolds: The College Ministry would like to name the Kunders family as volunteers of the week. Todd and Kelly have been absolutely vital to the sustainability of the college ministry. They currently serve as Life Group leaders and are always eager to invite students into their homes and pour their lives into them. In addition, Todd also serves on our teaching team and does an incredible job teaching students in a fun and unique way that never fails to engage the minds and hearts of students. Thanks to Todd’s fun personality and Kelly’s warm heart and smile, we are able to create an environment that is fun, exciting, and hospitable to students every Sunday morning. Todd also serves First Baptist Belton as a deacon.

From the desk of Eddie Humphrey - I am so appreciative of Connie Barker. She serves as an AWANA volunteer each Sunday evening from 5:30-7 pm. The AWANA ministry at First Baptist Belton teaches children the importance of scripture memory, what missions is all about, and teamwork while at play. Connie faithfully gives of her time each week helping in numerous ways such as: assisting boys and girls as they memorize scripture passages, providing supervision as children move from one rotation to the next, and by being an extra “set of eyes” to help ensure the safety of each child while they are at AWANA. I am both thankful for her commitment and dedication to the AWANA ministry, and for the sweet and fun spirit she brings to the learning environment.

First Baptist Belton with Christie Lumpkin Bledsoe and Trey Bledsoe.
From the desk of Brad Echols: The Youth Ministry would like to recognize Trey and Christie Bledsoe as the volunteers of the week. Trey and Christie serve as Life Group leaders, help with Youth Mid-Week services, and teach on Sunday mornings when needed. Trey and Christie also volunteered as a Disciple Now host home and are readily available to invest in the lives of students whenever an opportunity arises. I’m thankful for the leadership the Bledsoes displayed in the interim and amazed at their continued love and passion they display for students. I am blessed to have Trey and Christie as a part of my ministry team. I want to thank them for the sacrifices they make and the joy they put on display in leading students to grow in their faith.

From the desk of Luke Wells: Dale O’Banon is the Upward Volunteer of the week. Dale has worked in the ministry with me from the beginning. He gives up every Saturday to make sure our pre-game and post-game rooms are ready for each of our teams. He comes in every Saturday bright and early with a smile on his face and donuts to share with the other volunteers. He makes game days less stressful for me because I know he will carry out the tasks needed for this area with strength and diligence. Dale also serves in the STARSS ministry, extended session, and as an usher for the early service. I am very grateful to serve alongside Dale in this ministry and to call him my friend. If you see Dale join me in thanking him for all that he does for First Baptist Belton. Upward would not be as effective without him on my team.
