We believe that no one deserves to live in isolation. We build community and connection for residents of Old Town-Downtown Portland by nurturing their body, mind and spirit through our programming and services. We also operate a low-income apartment building and provide 24/7 care for Medicaid-recipients in our assisted living facility.
Each year Maybelle Center works with 500 individuals find life-giving connection and community through home visits, support services, spiritual support, and community building activities. This focus on outreach and assistance helps socially-isolated community members build community and relationships with others which helps them stay housed, healthy and socially engaged.
