MVP Health Care’s vision is to create the healthiest communities in the United States – and we want you to be a part of that effort.
Our social channels allow you to connect with us, as well as others, to discuss health-related topics important to you. We welcome and encourage open and civil discussion for all items posted to these social channels. Any and all comments are monitored and reviewed to ensure they comply with our commenting guidelines.
To be a productive member of our online community, please follow these guidelines:
Please use common courtesy. You must demonstrate appropriate respect for other commenters. If you disagree with an opinion, feel free to challenge that opinion with a comment of your own. But please, no personal attacks.
Any material that is unlawful, obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, slanderous, hateful, or embarrassing to any other person or entity as determined by MVP Health Care in its sole discretion will be deleted.
Post your own original material. Do not post material that infringes on the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights.
Stay on topic. Comments should be relevant to the post and resulting conversation, not off-topic or clearly promoting a commercial product.
No advertising, please. Unauthorized advertising, business solicitation, promotional items, “spam” or junk mail will be removed.
Just be yourself. You may not represent that you are any other person, whether real or invented, or imply any connection with any person or organization with which you are not in fact associated. The use of multiple identities is not permitted. Do not allow any other person or entity to use your identification for posting or viewing comments.
By commenting, you also recognize that your comments are your own, and that you hold MVP Health Care and all subsidiaries and representatives harmless from any and all repercussions, damages, or liability.
We reserve the right to remove any comment at any time from our Facebook Page, without limitation, if it violates the above guidelines. We also reserve the right to modify these community guidelines at any time and without notice.
Online discussion and member privacy
We welcome you to post questions and concerns about MVP’s service and/or health coverage that comply with our commenting guidelines, and will work to resolve them as quickly as possible.
It is important to note the privacy of our members’ health information is a top priority for us. Remember that social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, etc., are online public forums. For this reason, we cannot discuss individual member cases in great detail via social media, because we have a duty to uphold the privacy and security of our members’ protected health information, as required by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). It is our job to ensure this right to privacy is given to all of our members, online and offline.
All questions and/or concerns about MVP's service and/or health coverage are forwarded to our Customer Care department, which can be reached Monday - Friday, 8 am to 6 pm (Eastern Time) toll free: 1-888-687-6277, TTY 1-800-662-1220.
