How old is Master Tung Acupuncture? Amazing article, and it's getting me even more excited that Henry McCann is coming to ACCHS in Oakland in December for 4 days. Here Henry presents arguments that link Tung Acupuncture all the way back to antiquity through references to Classical texts. Some highlights: • Only one Master Tung point on the Heart Channel (in the earliest acupuncture texts there is no Heart Channel), with Heart problems treated mostly with points on the Pericardium and Stomach Channels • In Tung Acupuncture, there are "reaction areas" or "nerves" (translation of Jing) that correspond to structures like the teeth, not only to the zang fu organs (again represented in Ma Wang Dui acupuncture texts) We are excited that Henry can teach this material in a way that is both immediately useful (Master Tung's system is known for this), but also can be drawn back to the Classics and the principles that gives Chinese Medicine so much of its beauty and meaning. Episode #3: "The Oldest Acupuncture Manual"

What are the side-effects of acupuncture? Here is an answer from a senior acupuncturist https://www.quora.com/What-are-the-side-effects-of-acupuncture/answer/Lonny-Jarrett?share=e319b165&srid=uhJe6
Lonny Jarrett's answer: Please ignore the ignorant answer that suggests acupuncture has no use and can result in death. I’ve practice full-time for 32 years and have done about 80,000 sessions. Chinese Medicine (CM) is almost the mirror image of Western medicine. Hence, the most significant side...
