LLC is a fully accredited preschool facility for children 2 to 5 years old. We are located just north of SR 54 on Starkey Boulevard one mile east of Little Road in Longleaf. Longleaf Learning Center admits students and accepts applications of any race, gender, creed and national or ethnic origin. Students do not need to be residents of Longleaf to attend ourpreschool.
Our educational program features a focus on kindergarten readiness in an outstanding environment designed for the learning success of our preschoolers. Our staff are caring and nurturing professionals who are well-trained in child development and learning theory. Each head teacher holds a Child Development Associate Certificate. In addition, every staff member is certified in First Aid and CPR.
The entire management and staff of the Longleaf Learning Center share these common beliefs: Parents are the child's first and most important teacher. We are the parents' partner in the child's growth and development. Our most important role is the child's safety and emotional comfort. The first "school" experience should spark a lifelong enthusiasm for learning and nurture each child's self esteem. Young children learn best through a blend of concrete, hands-on experiences that include a wide variety of equipment and materials framed within a kindergarten readiness curriculum. Each child is unique - growing and learning at his or her own pace. The curriculum must nurture the whole child; each child's physical, intellectual, social and emotional well-being are cherished and developed.
