The firm History of JGR originated in 1945 as Seitz-Jones, now over 65 years of continued service. Russell A. Jones joined the firm in 1956, and John N. Gillam joined the firm in 1959. Jeff Gillam joined in 1988, and incorporated the firm in 1999. Charles Renz joined the firm in 1995 and in 2008 became a principal. Jones Gillam Renz combines experience, knowledge and creativity of the entire staff.

Jones Gillam Renz Computer Services utilizes the latest technology and tools, computer modeling, design and drafting, with effective, efficient, and skilled results.

One of the principals assumes full leadership and responsibility of the project and project team. This Principal in charge coordinates with client representatives, specialists, consultants and staff in all phases of the project such as programming, design, cost estimating, production and contract administration.


Jones Gillam Renz emphasizes the "team concept" and therefore all principals participate and contribute to each of the phases of the project ensuring quality service and design, prudent control of costs, and the versatility and expertise of the entire staff.
Our design philosophy places special importance on the "team" concept. The culmination of experience and talent from each member of the entire project team will achieve design excellence. Jones Gillam Renz staff are team players creating the environment for positive results.

The "team concept" or team approach is not new or unique. It is however, an important ingredient to the overall success of the project. Jones Gillam Renz emphasizes and understands that the client, owner, users, staff, and all associated representatives or committees must have input into the total design process, as a team effort.

Therefore, our approach and philosophy is to work with the owner and client representatives to formulate, develop, explore, analyze, and critique each and every detail of the design and building process. This will include conferences, design studies, cost estimates, drawings, evaluations, etc. as required to completely determine and satisfy all of the client's physical and functional goals and /or needs.
