Southminster Presbyterian Church

Southminster Church is an evangelical family of faith committed to BIBLICAL TEACHING, VIBRANT WORSHIP and AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY.

BIBLICAL TEACHING: We believe the word of God is authoritative in all matters of life and faith and full of God's wisdom to guide us through the challenges of life.

VIBRANT WORSHIP: Life can be hard, the days can be full. Worship is where we come, praise, pray and allow gratitude to change our perspective. We worship with a variety of vibrant music, from contemporary to re-imagined hymns, all seeking to bring glory to God.

AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY: We believe an essential component of the early church was the aspect of community. We believe there is value in knowing the members of your church and being known by the leaders of your church. These relationships are vital for our continued growth and support as followers of Jesus.

Southminster’s mission is to REACH out with the love of Jesus; TRANSFORM lives with the word of God; and SEND forth disciples to serve in the Spirit. This growing and thriving church is a member of Presbyterian Church (USA) and is located in Gastonia, North Carolina, at 1401 Hoffman Road.

We celebrate in worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 am. This is preceded by a time of food and fellowship in our gym at 10:00 am. Classes for all ages begin at 9:15 am. We have several small groups, Bible studies, classes and programs for people of all ages that happen throughout the week.
