CAMPING Primitive camping is offered behind our store. Camping is free if you canoe that day with us. Otherwise, it is $ per person, 13 and older. To hook up to electricity, it will be $10 per person, 13 and older. Kids 12 and under camp free. We do not have RV hookups or showers. We have bathrooms inside our store and a portable toilet near the campground.

SHOAL CREEK CANOE RUN was established in 1997. We rent canoes and kayaks for individuals and groups along the beautiful Shoal Creek in Iron City, Tennessee. Enjoy spectacular scenery while floating along the creek. Bring your cooler and pull over on a sandbar* for a picnic. Take a dip in the clear water. Grab a pole and catch some fish such as small- and large-mouth bass, black perch, and catfish (just to name a few). Unless we have flooding, the creek is considered Class I, with a gentle, flowing current to help push you along. So, bring the kids and the pets-it's the perfect outdoor family activity! *Please respect personal property. Don't trespass!
We are also a convenience store/deli called Shoal Creek Trading Post. Breakfast & lunch is served every day. We sell gas, snacks, drinks, ice, sunblock, waterproof containers & cameras, oil and various other necessities.
We carry live bait (night crawlers), artificial bait & tackle. We sell hunting/fishing licenses and we are a checking station.
