Shimmering Dental provides dental services for the whole family, from pediatric to sedation dentistry. Walk-ins and emergency patients accepted. Shimmering Dental is overseen by Dr. Edward Williams.
Dr. Williams was born in Sparta, Georgia and raised in Lakeland, FL. After graduating from the University of South Florida, he continued his studies at the University Of Florida College Of Dentistry in Gainesville Florida, where he received his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1985. Dr. Williams finished his Mini Residency in IV Sedation at the University Of Alabama School Of Dentistry and received his IV Sedation Permit from the State of Florida Board of Dentistry.
Dr. Williams has additional training in Dental Implant placement, Oral Surgery and IV Sedation for those patients that deal with extreme anxiety. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Polk County Dental Association, the Tampa Bay Area Dental Association and The West Coast Dental Association.
