Peninsula Family Wellness Center

Peninsula Family Wellness Center (PFWC) is made-up of highly competent, caring professionals specializing in a range of mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, adhd, substance abuse and other addictions, couples issues, eating disorders, and even severe mental illness. We are proud to have on staff a distinguished psychiatrist who was honored "Teacher of the Year" at USC's Department of Psychiatry last year. PFWC offers a comprehensive "team" treatment approach to each patient. Psychiatrist and psychotherapists consult with eachother regularly to monitor our patient's progress and to alter treatment plans if indicated, in order to help patients achieve their treatment goals as soon as possible.

Individual Therapy

While the overall goal of therapy is the very vague 'to be happier,' you may not have any idea what that means for you yet. That's okay. Your therapist can help you break down your overall goal into smaller, achievable goals. When you start therapy, your therapist can help you clarify what's not working in your life. Specifically, your therapist will help you increase your clarity about:
