Comfort Control Corp. was founded in 1973 by our current President Russell Cox. We are still privately owned. We are not a subsidiary of one of the large consolidators. We have been installing, servicing and maintaining heating and air conditioning systems in the Los Angeles area for over 37 years. Comfort Control Corp. is one of only a handful of heating and air conditioning contractors in the Los Angeles area to be certified and approved by " The League of California Homeowners". All contractors who apply for approval must submit to a thorough background investigation and meet certain criteria. He or she must have a valid contractors license with no outstanding complaints or litigation with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). They must also have workers compensation and general liability insurance in place for at least $1,000,000. Also, they must have good business credit as verified by the Building Industry Credit Association and TRW, (now Experian). They must provide satisfactory customer references, including material suppliers. They also must submit to a background check for liens, civil litigation, bankruptcy and defaults. They must agree to abide by The League's Code of Ethics. Of the hundred of contractors who have applied for approval, 2 out of 3 did not make the grade.

Manufacturer recommendations, federal laws and local building codes are only our minimum standards. We provide ongoing education for our installation personnel to ensure that they will be using the most modern techniques and the highest quality materials available. We do this in order to provide you with the greatest energy-efficiency, comfort, and reliability. Five lead installers have been with our company for an average of nine years. They are all highly experienced, well trained, and trust worthy.
