Hearing Health Care is led by Dr. Pamela S. Benbow and her husband Pete Benbow. They have been providing hearing health care services in the Myrtle Beach area for over 25 years. Dr. Benbow has been in private practice for 23 years. She received her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida at Gainesville and a Master of Arts degree in Audiology from Queens College of the City University of New York with a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University. Dr. Benbow is licensed by the South Carolina State Board of Examiners in Speech Pathology and Audiology. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA), member of the South Carolina Academy of Audiologists, Audiological Resource Association, and the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists.
Wilber "Pete" Benbow is a certified occupational hearing technician and coordinator of the Industrial Hearing Conservation Program at Hearing Health Care. He is responsible for the development of comprehensive, customized hearing conservation programs for local industries. In addition, Pete is a certified hearing aid repair technician and coordinates all repairs in our office lab allowing on-site repair of minor hearing aid problems.
