The Western Slope Center for Children (WSCC) is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to facilitate and coordinate the work of existing governmental agencies, and independent service providers, to meet the needs of sexually abused children.
Established in 1997, WSCC has provided services to over 3000 child victims in Mesa County and surrounding areas. The Center has been instrumental in alleviating the trauma associated with multiple interviews by collaborating with various agencies to provide one central location for victim's to receive interviews and sexual assault exams.
The Western Slope Center for Children Provides:

*Consistent and fast follow-up to abuse reports.
*Compassionate support to the child and family.
*Forensic medical exams performed by trained nurses using the Secure Digital Forensic Imaging System.
*Appropriate medical and mental health referrals.
