This Facebook page is dedicated to all three businesses and aims to bring you info about our menu offerings, events and information about new products and specials.
The first Market Hall Foods opened in 1987 inside the European-style market place, Rockridge Market Hall. Then in 1996, a new location was opened at the 4th Street Shopping District in Berkeley. Then, an e-commerce site, selling a curated selection of ingredients from the shops, was launched in 2005.
The brand name The Pasta Shop still exists and the fresh pasta, ravioli and sauces the company makes are sold at our retail and online shops, as well as at the San Francisco Farmers Market, , many markets throughout the Bay Area, and is also served at over 200 restaurants.
All these businesses are still owned and operated by the Wilson family, siblings Sara, Tony and Peter. In 2017, Market Hall Foods & The Pasta Shop will celebrate 30 years.
