Established in 1999. Red Hen Baking Co. was started by Randy George and Eliza Cain in Duxbury, VT. Fresh from Portland, Oregon, they returned to Eliza's home state and began baking Organic, Artisanal bread. 14 years later, the bakery is now located in Middlesex, VT, with a cafe featuring great coffee and espresso drink and homemade soups and sandwiches featuring locally grown ingredients. The cafe is also the only place to get your hands on our amazing, authentic, seasonally changing pastries .
