Children’s Liturgy of the Word Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLotW) is a special service tailored for all elementary school children, including visitors. Children (and a parent, if needed) are invited to join the trained teachers after the opening prayer, when the presiding priest welcomes them forward. A lesson mimicking the Word heard in the main service will be taught, and children will return to their parents during the offertory collection. This special service is offered at least twice a month; dates for CLotW can be found each month on the Basilica’s Facebook page: facebook.com/baltimorebasilica. Want to volunteer as a CLotW teacher and help shape the youth’s journey with Christ? Contact Maura Belton at the Parish Office (410-727-3564) for further information.
