What type of church is Mountainview? We are an Independent Christian Church. We have no denominational ties and use the Bible as our only guide.
What time is your Sunday morning service? We have TWO Sunday gatherings. The first begins at 9:00, the second starts at 10:40.
How long do your gatherings last? Our target time is one hour and fifteen minutes.
What do I need to wear? There is no dress code. Many people wear jeans to church and that's fine with us.
Do you have a children's program during Sunday gatherings? Yes. Children's programming is offered during both gathering times for nursery through 8th grade.
If I visit, will I have to stand up or wear a name tag? No. We won't single you out! We'd love to meet you, but we'll let that happen naturally.
Do you serve communion? Yes. We take communion every week. We invite you to join us as we remember our Lord's sacrifice.
Do you practice water baptism? Yes. We believe the Gospel is symbolized by being buried in water.
