The Travelers Protective Association is a not-for-profit beneficiary society of members committed to the family, community involvement, and support of needy causes. Growth is achieved by the voluntary efforts of existing members, one member inviting their friends to participate and join.
The society's purposes are threefold functioning in these major areas:
Fraternalism: Social and fraternal activities at the local level for members and friends. Dances, family picnics, barbeques and many other events are held regularly by most Posts.
Safety Projects and Community Service: Participation is on a national and local scale; the Child Safety Programs and Scholarship Program for the Hearing Impaired are examples. Other activities are tailored to local needs and requirements.
Membership Benefits: Accident, Death and Disability benefits for members and their beneficiaries.
