Founded by my father, Anthony Joseph, Ajay Land Company is not just a mill building but rather a community that houses some of the best artistic talent in Rhode Island. Our vision is to become an impetus to the Providence Renaissance movement.
Currently and over the years, Ajay Land has had the pleasure of having artists of all types, genres, from muralists, glass blowers, sculptors, wood carvers, ceramicists, potters, spinners & weavers, quilters, graphic designers, photographers, fashion designers, textile artists, woodworkers, craftsmen, interior designers, conceptual artists, mixed media artists, digital artists, filmmakers, environmental artists, installation artists, set designers, costumers, dancers, musicians, bands, singer songwriters, poets, authors, jewelry manufacturers in all stages of it's creation, etc anyone else who’s creative!!!
We have artist work studios available for rent ranging from 350 - 1000 sq ft. Each space is unique and equipped with various amenities ranging from loading dock access, sinks, north light, south light, etc. Very reasonable rates. Free parking. Excellent location, only 2 blocks from downtown Providence and the Providence Place Mall. Please leave a message on the answering machine and our property manager Tom will get right back you.
