My name is Steve Kind. In 1981 I started this business mainly reconditioning auto upholstery for car dealerships in the Madison area. As a one person business I handled all phases of the business from repairs to the book work. The experience was important to see and work with so many different upholstery issues.
The demand for leather repair and reconditioning grew, and in 1996 Tim Schlick came to the business as a technician. We grew the business from a strictly automotive arena to other upholstery areas. Leather furniture was becoming more popular, so we wanted to solve the problems that sometimes go along with owning leather. The sun, pets, kids, and normal wear and tear can take a toll on leather.
