Truro Anglican Church is an historic church in Old Town Fairfax, Virginia. We are an Anglican Church, steeped in the three historic streams of Christianity: catholic, charismatic, and evangelical. As catholic Christians we are a church that believes and teaches the creeds and sacramental life of historic Christianity. As a charismatic church, we expect to be led and filled by the Holy Spirit in our mission as disciples of Jesus Christ. As an evangelical church, we delight in the Good News of Jesus Christ and making it known. We find a serious study of the Bible essential to fulfilling our mission.
We are also a church that loves to worship the living God in ways that reflect our tradition, but also engage with contemporary culture. We delight in being known as Christ’s disciples and finding new ways to demonstrate God’s life-transforming love to those around us and throughout the world.
We are on a journey, and we look forward to the opportunity to share that adventure with you by walking together in friendship with Jesus and one another.
