Simply upload your music and we will provide a quick turnaround with your finished mastered track. Albums and EP's also. Mastering may include sonic enhancement, level normalizing, compression, limiting, EQ, track start ID. For project submissions of more than one track we take care to consider track spacing and total balance for the complete disc. Considerations we include that many don't think of is that we listen to the entire submission in order to create a "body of work" balance from track to track as well as a natural and musical approach to the feel of the spacing between each track.
Care is also taken to preserve the natural dynamics of the music, we prefer to allow your recording to naturally "breathe" dynamically. However, application of dynamics depends on the genre and the music itself.
Preferred submission requirements:
- Format should be 24-bit / 48k WAV or AIFF or higher, but will take 16-bit / WAV or AIFF. - No compression on the mix (or very little if possible) - No limiting on the mix. - Do not EQ your track (SEE BELOW)
IMPORTANT: Project acceptance is not guaranteed. Submissions will be evaluated first for quality of minimal standards. Some mixes have too much bass, too much treble, or too much compression in an attempt to reach the goal of what the track is expected to sound like mastered. This sometimes eliminates industry standard quality of mastering, and thus poorly mixed or mastered recordings can result in damage to playback systems. You will not be charged for mixes that are returned and/or determined to require correction. You can then re-submit your mixes for mastering.
CAUTION: Proper volume of your playback system must be considered when listening to any music; excessive volume can easily damage speakers that do not have the capacity to reproduce the frequencies of the sound source at high volumes.
We are not responsible for damage caused by excessive playback volumes.
